Important details about the sale of J Nugs (2010)

Over the past few months, many questions have been raised about the sale of Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards on LeeAsher.com. Below, you'll find the top ten most asked questions (in no particular order) along with the answers.

1) How much will these decks cost?
Below is a chart of how the cards will be sold in 2010. While it was stated that price would be announced on March 15th, 2010, I've decided to list the details right now to combat any disappointment some might have. Notice that each rung has a certain number of decks at a specific price and a specific condition. If you're fast enough, you'll be able to purchase a deck of Jerry's Nugget Playing cards for WAY LESS than 2010's fair market value. Good luck.

* Note - Once a rung sells out, the cart will automatically update to reflect the new price.

2) What will my deck look like?
Original Jerry's come in blue and red. The condition of your deck will be based upon the rung at which you purchase. Rung one and two decks are "mint condition", which means there will be no cellophane, and that the stamp may be loose or broken. The deck inside has never been used, shuffled or handled. Decks in rungs three through six will have the cellophane and stamps intact. All collectors know that the thin and delicate wrappers of these decks were not designed to last 40 years, so small crinkles and cracks in the cellophane are not uncommon.

3) Are these real Jerry's Nuggets cards from 1970?
Yes. The 60 decks being sold on March 15th, 2010 at 4pm EST on LeeAsher.com are the genuine thing. Be assured that you are purchasing a real pack of Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards. They will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

4) May I send a check, money order, or any other form of cash to purchase a deck?
Sorry, no. You may only purchase a deck using the shopping cart provided on this website. At this time, Paypal and Google Checkout are your only two options. Please note these two online payment services take most major credit cards and you don't have to create an account to use their services.

5) Can you save a deck for me until I get home from school or work?
Jerry's Nugget decks cannot be reserved. Do what it takes to be there on March 15th, 2010 at 4pm EST in order to maximize your chance to purchase a deck.

6) What happened to the Brick that was for sale in March 2010?
In an effort to alleviate some of the heavy traffic from the server, on March 15th, 2010 at 4pm EST, the one factory sealed brick will be sold beforehand, lottery style. *NOTE: Entries are accepted until 11:59pm EST March 12th, 2010. Serious entries only. If you have interest in purchasing this brick, please put your name on the J Nugg lotto list.

7) May I check out with more than one deck in the shopping cart?
To be fair to everyone, you are limited to placing one deck in the shopping cart. You can try to put in more, but you'll be penalized and lose time. You risk missing out on purchasing a deck. Play fair. Being sneaky will not help you in this situation.

8) If these Jerry's Nugget cards sell out, will there be any more for sale in 2010?
If you miss your opportunity to purchase a deck of authentic Jerry's Nugget cards on the 15th of March 2010, there will be one other chance in 2010. Stay tuned for more details.

9) Can't I just purchase a Jerry's Nugget deck on Ebay?
You sure can, but you won't be guaranteed that it's authentic. Buyer beware on Ebay. Please be careful.

10) I don't want to leave LeeAsher.com empty-handed on March 15th, 2010. What should I do?
While you are not guaranteed a Jerry's deck that day, you will be able to purchase a brand new downloadable manuscript titled the Losing Control.

Asher's Legacy:

Raised by a semi-professional sleight of hand artist, I was born into the art of magic. From that young boy understanding his talents along the journey to where I am now, it's been my duty to bring the most visual magic I can to the public eye.

I have been interested in the art of magic for over 20 years, and have been performing professionally for half that time.

My raw visual style of magic is easily recognized and universally acknowledged. >>
