This section is dedicated to the art of visual magic. Along with my small videos, I will be featuring other magicians worthy of mentioning. I hope to instill my passion for magic and its rich history, plus be a guiding light for those curious enough to look. For previous featured performers, click here.
Please check back weekly for updates.
On a side note, I'm currently working on re-shooting ALL the videos on this site in HD. It's a long process but I assure you the wait will be well worth it. For now though, please enjoy the videos below.
September's featured performers - Michael Skinner & Tommy Cooper
Michael Skinner
For over 20 years, Michael Skinner was the magician in residence at the Golden Nugget in Las Vegas, Nevada. He studied under Eddie Fechter, and then later with Dai Vernon. He made two guest appearances on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show, and was considered one of the finest sleight of hand artists in the last 100 years.
Tommy Cooper was an Anglo-Welsh prop comedian and magician. He was known for making an art of getting magic tricks wrong, although he was actually an accomplished magician. Despite his purported inability to perform conjuring tricks, Cooper was a member of The Magic Circle.
Not only one of magic's best kept secrets, it's an impressive impromptu card effect with only four regular cards! Aces turn face down and face up in the most magical way.
This is a trailer for Thunderbird : The Modern Ace Production. It's shot on the streets of Las Vegas. The great background music is written, played, and produced by Dana Hocking.
This is an alternate trailer for Thunderbird : The Modern Ace Production. It's composed of still images made up from the manuscript, slowly played in chronological order. The great background music is written, played, and produced by Ebay Jamil.
This is a trailer for the Diving Board Double PDF. Please note, only the Acrobatic version of the move is show in the video above. The great background music is written, played, and produced by Ebay Jamil.
After having a card selected, your spectator holds a zip lock bag with a Joker sealed inside. The Joker, held securely between the spectator's palms, 'transforms' into the selection! Never once is the bag opened. Everything can be handed out for examination.
The spectator tries to find the four aces and fails by finding four wrong cards. The magician takes the four cards and magically changes them into the four aces.
I admit, it was unnecessary to destroy that Jerry's Nugget Playing Card. It was selfish and disrespectful. I'll try not to do it again, though it will be hard. Footage provided by my pal A. Rivkin (shot in 2006).

09.04.08 I'm back from teaching all week at the Sorcerers Safari Summer Magic Camp. Using the tools of today to teach the youth of today, I show them why the guys from yesterday are worth knowing. Click here to learn more about magic camp.
Raised by a semi-professional sleight of hand artist, I was born into the art of magic. From that young boy understanding his talents along the journey to where I am now, it's been my duty to bring the most visual magic I can to the public eye.
I have been interested in the art of magic for over 20 years, and have been performing professionally for half that time.
My raw visual style of magic is easily recognized and universally acknowledged. >>
