An open letter to Malaysian Magicians and Playing Card Collectors.
Dear Malaysian Magicians and Playing Card Collectors,
Thanks for emailing. Please pass this information along to everyone that would be interested. This decision is not based on anything personal and I want you to know that I love Malaysia and Malaysians!
However, due to last year's Jerry's Nugget postal issues with Malaysia, I've decided to exclude them from this year's launches.
Last year, a Malaysian was lucky enough to purchase a deck of JNuggs from the 09 launch. I sent it, and they never received it. So I sent a replacement. That one did not arrive either. I trust this customer implicitly so the issue was not with them, rather with the postal system. How many decks do I send before I realize Malaysia's postal system is not so good?
I use the United States Postal Service and they are a fantastic company. I've been using them for years without any issues. I ship all over the world, but nothing causes problems like shipping to Malaysia. That's why I try and create lots of downloadble products, in order to bypass the issue and still deliver the information you want. Unfortunally, Jerry's decks are not downloadable.
To make last year's long story short, I had to eventually return my customer's money. I'm out multiple Jerrys decks, shipping costs, multiple pelican1010 cases, and refund money.
What it really comes down to is I don't have enough replacement Jerry's Decks if they get lost in the mail, like what happened last year. Jerry's decks are way harder to replace than Asher Twist DVDs!
Malaysia is certinaly welcome to shop on LeeAsher.com for everything else, just not Jerrys decks.
I'm very sorry if that inconveniences anyone, but hope you can understand now.
By the way, I want to make this very clear. If you (or anyone from Malaysia) still wants a deck and decides to buy one from this year's sale and the cards do not arrive - I will not replace them or give a refund. You're basically buying them at your own risk. Have them shipped to a friend in Singapore or Australia, that way you will know your deck will arrive.
Again, thanks understanding. I appreciate you taking the time to email me on behalf of your forums. Please contact me if they have any questions.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Lee Asher
