How did you start in magic?
My father gave me my start in the art of magic. I really was not interested in magic until the age of 7. I was fascinated with cards from the start. I was most interested in technique in the beginning. I still am, but have learned to be rounded. I am versed in most all close-up magic, all because I have a strong technical foundation.

Who are some of your favorite living magicians?
My favorite magicians are gentlemen like Bill Goodwin, Steve Beam, Aaron Fisher, Allan Ackermann, Joey Burton, and Lew Brooks. There are many others, just not enough room here to mention.

Where have you performed?
I have performed in almost every situation possible. Private parties, restaurants, tradeshows, and on an extreme; I have spent time performing magic all around the world. I also have been spent time performing on Las Vegas Boulevard in Caesar’s Palace.

“Lee I want to improve my Asher Twist. What’s the best way?”

As an actual tip, make sure you practice in front of the mirror. Stand off to a side and watch your angles from a less-than-optimal position. This will help you understand your flash points.

What are those stylish cards you use in your videos and notes?
The cards I use are Jerry’s Nugget playing cards. They are a difficult deck of cards to find. I have a personal stock of these cards; they are no longer sold anymore. You might be able to find some on eBay if you are lucky. For more information, please read more about Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards.

“I’m a beginner in magic, what’s the best product on your site to start with?”
I would start with Stack Attack or Nu Sense. These are both self-working, and it's a great way to introduce yourself with powerful magic.

How do I get on the X-elent Series tour?
You have to be the best of the best to obtain a spot on this highly sought after lecture circuit. You either have to be the cutting edge in your field, or the most original on your block. There is no room for second best on this tour.
